A hybrid hiking and mountaineering boots, that’s suitable for prolonged use, the Zodiac Tech GORE-TEX utilise Perwanger Leather, which is designed for excursions on mixed terrain, even when you’re carrying a heavy backpack. The patented technology Bascula Adaptive System provides stability and grip, the rubber rand guarantees foot protection while keeping the boot contained.

GORE-TEX Upper

Made from Perwanger Leather, the Zodiac Tech GORE-TEX Walking Shoes uppers are highly breathable and extremely durable to provide you with optimised comfort when wearing. These materials are also water-repellent to protect the shoes from light rain and moisture. Alongside this, the shoes feature a GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane lining, which not only provides excellent waterproofing properties but also enhances breathability, ensuring a dry and comfortable wearing experience for your feet to thrive under the pressures of your hike. This lightweight upper features an ACTIVfit system for a comfortable fit, as well as, a SockFit-XT which wraps around the foot like a sock, enhancing the breathability, waterproofing and durability of the shoes. The shoes also utilise a protective rubber edge on the toes to protect them from knocks and bumps on the trail. The boots have a top gaiter for a more snug fit, providing warmth on the upper calf, therefore preventing debris, stones and snow from entering the shoes. A Heel Control is provided to help avoid twisting, facilitating walking on all types of terrains and ensuring a more responsive upper. To provide a secure fit, preventing feet from slipping inside the shoes, the walking shoes have an Extended Lacing fastening system, which extends and fastens down to the toe, providing maximised customisation and an extremely comfortable fit.

PU Midsole

To ensure optimised in-shoe comfort and a soft, cushioned landing, the shoes have a PU midsole. This midsole provides you with enhanced stability and support keeping your feet exceptionally comfortable and ready to tackle whatever the hike throws at you. The midsole also provides you with excellent levels of stability and support keeps you stable on the ground below. Alongside this, a TPU film features to provide the shoes with an abrasive-resistant layer, and working alongside a PU insert keeps you comfortable, providing adaptability to the ground below. Making the shoes crampon compatible, the shoes have Cramponable TPU inserts, which have differentiated thickness for optimised in-shoe comfort.

Vibram MONT Outsole

Featuring a Vibram MONT outsole formula, the outsole of the Zodiac Tech GORE-TEX provides you with durable grip and traction across varying surfaces, optimising your performance on mountaineering and hiking adventures. The ABS Precision Cramp provided is made with a proprietary Bascula Adaptive System which ensures stability and grip on the ground below, and combining this with soft, rigid lugs the shoes enhance traction on all surfaces and slopes, maintaining maximum comfort.
