Flyknit Upper

Optimising breathability alongside extreme comfort, the Invincible 3 utilises Nike’s unique Flyknit upper construction. The materials encase your feet in a layer of soft comfort, providing your feet with an increased level of airflow, to help prevent overheating from occurring and keeping you focused on the trail ahead. This outstanding construction utilises high-strength fibres to ensure a lightweight, yet supportive fit where you need it most, and in a sock-like fit they provide you excellent flexibility, for natural, distraction-free strides. The materials are highly moisture-wicking to prevent the build-up of sweat, providing a dry wearing experience, and helping to prevent you from discomfort or overheating. The shoes utilise a heel clip to encourage stability, keeps you focused on the run ahead, and assists in keeping your foot in a firm and upright position, as well as ensuring your foot remains locked-in. Additionally, the shoes have a soft collar and tongue, to further keep the foot secure, whilst also reducing chafing or irritation from occurring during movement. Working alongside, the shoes have a traditional lace up closure, which further keeps the shoes locked-in, by preventing in-shoe slipping from occurring, and providing you with a secure fit.

A development from their predecessors, the Invincible Run Flyknit 3 utilises a new and improved ZoomX foam midsole. To provide you with a more comfortable, responsive landing base, Nike have provided a wider and taller ZoomX cushioning, for added stability and with extra cushioning in contact points around the heel and tongue, to provide additional levels of comfort where you most need. ZoomX delivers exceptional energy return, which provides you forward propulsion, for natural, effortless strides that help to enhance your performance. The foam works to reduce the use of superfluous muscle power, further helping to prevent fatigue and enhance your running performance. Not only this, but the extra cushioning softens the impact from striking down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces, preventing further risks of injury or discomfort.
